On monday the 19th of March, the British envoy for Migration Tim Cole, accompanied by the UK ambassador in Rabat, Thomas Reilly, and the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Morocco, Jean Paul Cavaliéri, visited the Fondation Orient-Occident to see what the situation of refugees in Morocco is like.
The visit to the FOO’s Center of Rabat is part of the overall British envoy’s visit to Morocco, in order to discuss national and international migration policies and to learn about the Kingdom’s experience in managing migration affairs. He did in fact point out several times Morocco’s leading role in the management of migration in Africa and in the African Union.
