As part of World Refugee Week (16th to 21st June 2019), the Fondation Orient-Occident, in partnership with the UNHCR, organizes numerous activities: African artists gather together for unique festivities celebrating diversity, music and dance; seminars, discussions and thematic workshops will also be offered to the participants with the purpose of raising awareness, sharing and offering ways of learning. In particular, there will be workshops in cooking, calligraphy, dance, theater; activities for children’s entertainment, photo exhibitions, film screenings, concerts, pop-up stands from the Atelier Migrants du Monde.
On June 20th, there will be a day dedicated to the talents of refugees living in Morocco with the final of Refugees Got Talent where refugees will perform on stage and hold exhibition stands at the National Library of Rabat.
NB: Some activities will continue after the 21st of June, during the following week until the 28th of June.
