As part of the “Youth Initiative Fund (YIF)” project funded by UNHCR, in partnership with the Young Refugees Association “Living Together” and the Foundation Orient-Occident, and in collaboration with the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights, a second activity was organized in Tangier over two days: the 1st and the 2nd of November 2018.
The first day was dedicated to sensitizing young students in the city of Tangier on thematics such as human rights, asylum and migration, focusing on refugees’s rights and UNHCR’s intervention with its partners on the question of refugees protection in Morocco.
The second day saw the organization of a football match between young refugee residents and students from the city of Tangier.
The overall objective of the project is to promote the values of living together in Morocco, to meet the protection challenges and to promote the creation of a bridge of cohesion between young refugees and young Moroccans through sensitization, artistic and sports activities.
